Alungă departe de tine duhul mult vorbitor căci în el sunt ascunse toate patimile cele rele: minciuna, îndrăzneala, gluma uşuratică, râsul, calomnia, răutatea, vorba prostească şi pe scurt vorbind, ceea ce s-a spus: ”Din multa vorbire nu va lipsi păcatul.” (Pilde 10,19) Bărbatul tăcut este scaunul simţirii iar Domnul a spus că vom da socoteală pentru orice cuvânt deşert.
